Conference Venue

RESAW 2023 will be held at MUCEM Lab (a part of the MUCEM, Mediterranean Institute of Heritage Crafts), located at 201 quai du port (Vieux-Port).

Set in the heart of Marseille city over the Mediterranean see, Mucem (Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean) offers a great venue for RESAW 2023. Mucem is aasily accessible (20 minutes from International Airport, 10 minutes from high-speed train station. Marseille is 3 hours from Paris and 7 hours from London by train, less than 1 hour from Algiers and Tunis by plane, 5 hours by car from Barcelona and Milan.

Please note that the Mucem Lab is located at Fort-Saint Jean, the entrance is on the Vieux-Port and not through the general public entrance of the MUCEM. It is 15 minutes’ walk from the Gare Saint-Charles.
